1) We have stopped carrying the Highbush Cranberry Viburnums and their cultivars due to the tremendous damage we have noted from Viburnum Borer over the past few years. We see them dying all over the area. Branches suddenly wilting & dying, turning autumn colors much earlier than normal and/or very stunted leaf growth are prime indicators of borer infection.  Replacing them with new, borer sensitive Viburnum does not solve the problem. Regular annual treatments with recommended insecticides will help control the infection, but not cure it.  For more information and treatments see:
